Enter A Configuration Area

To be allowed to enter a configuration area, the user must have a TrackingOne account, the role T1_Admin, and a T1_Admin container role extension for the configuration area's container.

For example, in order to customise a user interface for container "MyStore," the user needs the role T1_Admin and the T1_Admin role extension for the container "MyStore."

Generally, the authorization for entering a whole web application like the Custom UI is a matter of installation and technical configuration. In order that the above concept will work, the installation must conform with certain prerequisites which are described in the installation guide. However, the concept will work in absence of any authorisation measure configured by the installation.

If the user does not have this permission, then he will get an error message saying that the access is denied when he or she tries to access the configuration area for that container.
