The intention of this documentation is to offer a basis and an assistance in handling the configuration area of the RimaOne Custom UI. It addresses to those who have the task to customise user interfaces of the RimaOne GRC Suite. This role is located somewhere between development and deployment, since working with the configuration area of the Custom UI means defining the contents of a user interface. However, no programming or technical knowledge is used at all in order to customize a user interface. Much like the user interfaces provided on the basis of the Custom UI, its configuration area lays claim to be simple as well.

The remainder of this introduction will cover the following topics. In the next subsection What Is The Custom UI? it is explained what aims and purposes are attained with the Custom UI, Features gives a list of its features, and Planned Extensions presents an overview of the extensions which we plan to develop.

The documentation is structured as follows.

In section Tutorials easy step-by-step instructions are given how to perform the various tasks associated with customizing user interfaces.

In section Concepts the concepts are explained on which the Custom UI is based. The aim is to communicate an understanding how things work together.

In section Reference you will be able to look up all necessary details of any configuration element.

There is also a Q&A.

This documentation is provided in the form of a PDF document as well as an online help whereby  forms the context sensitive part of it.
